What You’ll Be Serving Up :

You will enable operational excellence, improve food safety, and drive compliance for KFC US’ nationwide restaurants by leading the KFC US’ Restaurant Operations Compliance Check (ROCC) program. Your mission will be to empower franchisees and field teams to create exceptional guest experiences that comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up :

Championing the Restaurant Operations Compliance Check (ROCC) program

  • Promote understanding of ROCC standards by addressing key inquiries, leading training sessions (e.g., training on KFC Brand and Food Safety Standards in collaboration with the Food Safety Team), and coordinating Food Safety communications related to ROCC program.
  • Ensure operating standards are uniform across KFC US by aligning TeamKFC standards with ROCC evaluations.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and ensure relevance of ROCC in the field by owning the program governance and engaging with Franchise Owners, above-store management, KFCC Field Team, and internal teams.
  • Help maintain up-to-date operating standards across KFC US organization by regularly reviewing and updating standards to reflect evolving needs and priorities.

Orchestrating internal and external compliance efforts

  • Foster coordination across KFC US compliance initiatives by:
  • Identifying and sharing to best practices.
  • Providing performance insights, actionable recommendations, and comprehensive reports.
  • Implementing targeted improvements by collaborating with Field Operations and other partners.
  • Acting as the link between KFC US and KFC Global teams as well as representing Global Standards Committee.
  • Ensure 3rd party vendors comply with performance expectations by:
  • Managing vendor relationships and adjusting third-party vendor performance.
  • Overseeing program budget and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Coordinating communication with vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Spearhead timely resolutions of compliance issues by:
  • Overseeing the management of the escalation protocol.
  • Promptly addressing Operating Standard warnings and defaults.
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors to swiftly onboard specialists and maintain robust protocols.

What You Bring to the Table :

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s, 3+ years with Master’s.
  • Experience in an Operations Management or Compliance position for a consumer products company ($500M+ in size) handling compliance programs, vendors, or performance analysis preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders; ability to present effectively to senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and form action-able recommendations.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, including driving great outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Steadfast ability to act as the key person-to-contact in interactions with downstream stakeholders, including franchisees.
