Job Description
The Music Director is responsible for preparing Ableton, band members and song
arrangements to support an intimate worship experience in our weekly service and
events. This position reports to the Campus Worship Pastor. The Music Director
provides support to adult, NextGen services as well as campus events. This role
provides worship leaders and teams with the necessary support to lead our
congregation in intimate, anointed worship in a spirit of excellence.
Principal Job Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities - 3 - 4 weekend rotation (3 consecutive weekends max.)
- Assist Coaching (Ableton tracks setlist, coach band, provide feedback,etc.)
- Instrument / Gear maintenance
- Assist with band scheduling/planning
- Build Ableton sessions (maintain laptop/computer/updates)
- Purchase stems from Multi-tracks
- Build relationship/community with band
- MD/Band development
- Lead weekend soundcheck/rehearsal
- Liaison to Live Production (weekend rehearsal/services)
- Help manage worship set clock
- Create Chord charts as needed
- Oversights with Campus Worship Pastor
Additional Tasks and Events: - Student services
- Young Adults
- Shabbat
- MME (Men's Summit, Pink, GWC, etc.)
- Create stems for specials (Christmas, Easter, etc.)
Weekly Schedule: - 8 hours: Monday - Friday
- 12-13 hours Saturday - Sunday
(Sample Schedule) Monday 9am - 12pm
- Instrument maintenance
- Set up Ableton tracks for Students or other upcoming services
- Oversight with CWP
Tuesday 5pm - 9pm
- Built coaching Ableton tracks & assists coaching
Wednesday 5:30pm - 8:30pm
- Support Students if necessary
Thursday 12pm - 1pm
- Set up weekend Ableton sessions (1hr)
Saturday 12:30pm - 6:30pm
- Soundcheck/Rehearsal 12:45pm - 2:30pm
- Services 4pm & 5:45pm
Sunday 8am - 3pm
- Soundcheck/Rehearsal 8am - 8:30am
- Services 9am, 11am & 1pm

- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand long periods of time
- Occasionally kneel, or crouch
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
