Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting and possess the technical expertise and professionalism to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation of patient exams.
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs, including system training (EPIC).
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of General Registered Ultrasound experience.
• Experience in an Acute Care setting required.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program, including recognized Military Training programs.

Certifications & Licensure:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) — Required .
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — Preferred .

Schedule Details:

• Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule: Alternating weekends required
• Weekends/Holidays: Required
• Training: Two (2) weeks, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including EPIC system training

• Acute Care / Hospital Setting
