LSF is looking for a talented Transporter who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.

Purpose & Impact: 

Transporters will provide appropriate and effective transportation and supervision of youth.

Essential Functions:

• Provide transportation as needed to social or educational appointments, and outings.
• Ensure the safety of youth by following all proper regulations, safety recommendations and procedures each day.
• Record information and document incidents as they occur to help keep track of problem behaviors or unsafe driving conditions.
• Organize, prioritize, and complete all work assignments by the established deadlines.
• To work with the Residential Director to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the fleet vehicles.
• Attends all trainings and meetings as required by state, federal guidelines and accrediting bodies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have a high level of energy,
• Must be adaptable and able to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.

Education/Experience:

• A High School Diploma or GED required. 

Skills:

• Acceptance of a variety of lifestyles, behaviors, and cultural and spiritual practices.
• Strong personal boundaries
• Patient and compassionate
• Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends
• Ability to drive both locally and throughout the state in connection with the duties of this position.

Other:

• Must be willing to work irregular hours/shifts
• Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate driving record for the last (2) years and appropriate auto liability insurance required.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to successfully pass a Level II background screening and drug test.
