In this role, you'll be working in an inclusion setting , supporting students with disabilities alongside general education teachers to ensure access, equity, and meaningful learning experiences for all.
Partnering with general education teachers to provide academic and behavioral support within the classroom
Developing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
Differentiating instruction and modifying curriculum to promote student engagement and success
Tracking student progress and using data to inform instruction
Communicating regularly with families, staff, and support teams to ensure student growth and collaboration
Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations
A passionate educator who believes in inclusive education and equitable outcomes
Bachelors degree and valid Tennessee Special Education endorsement (required)
Strong skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and classroom adaptation
Previous experience in an inclusion setting is a plus, but not required
