A well-established and rapidly growing structural engineering consulting firm with over 60 years of industry leadership is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Nashville office. This role is ideal for a structural engineer with deep experience in the telecom sector , looking to take ownership of projects, mentor junior staff, and work in a dynamic, client-facing environment. The position offers a blend of office and field work, including site visits and direct client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of structural systems for telecom-related projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and oversee junior engineers, promoting high-quality work and professional growth.
  • Perform structural calculations, site inspections, and review technical reports to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
  • 5-15 years of structural engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the telecom industry.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proficiency in TNX Tower, RISA, and structural design spreadsheets.
  • Proven project management and client relationship experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
