Job Description

A dedicated Special Education Teacher is sought to support elementary students in grades K-5 within a resource classroom setting. This in-person role is located in Rawlins, WY, and spans the entire 2025-2026 school year on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to promote academic and social growth.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5) in special education settings.
• Knowledge of resource classroom environments and individualized instruction techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
