Position: Two Full-Time Special Education Teachers
Location: Barkhamsted, CT (Approx. 9 miles from Winchester)
Hours: 32.537.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday
Caseloads: Elementary and Middle School
Special Assignment: One 4th Grade Self-Contained Classroom
Contract: 20252026 School Year

Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction and support aligned with IEP goals
Manage behavior plans and academic interventions
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
One role will lead a 4th-grade self-contained classroom
Collaborate with fellow educators and families
Requirements:
Connecticut Special Education Certification (required)
Must have previous experience in school-based settings
Ability to manage self-contained classrooms and diverse needs
Must be comfortable working in both elementary and middle school environments
