An engaging K-12 school in Aurora, CO, is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. These full-time contract positions focus on supporting middle school students in resource class settings with a manageable caseload and a team-oriented approach. This role is ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in students lives through inclusive practices and individualized support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in resource class settings primarily through push-in support and occasional pull-out sessions.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Manage a caseload of no more than 25 students, ensuring personalized attention and progress monitoring.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching license in the state of Colorado.
• Experience working with students in middle school resource settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with general education staff and families.
• Commitment to inclusive educational practices and individualized student support.
