Job Description:

• Location: Supai, AZ (90% virtual).
• Contract through the school year
• Contract follows the academic district calendar – Part-time position.

Essential Functions:

• Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services through virtual and in-school settings for initial psychological assessment and for reevaluation of children in special education programs. 
• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead the multidisciplinary team in the process of identifying students of intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Communicate psychological assessment results and recommendations both verbally and through written reports.
• Participate in eligibility and program decisions in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.
• Participate in and contribute to professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel to Havasupai school location.

Salary:

• $60.00 - $65.00 per hour.

Requirements:

• Valid license/certification from a state or U.S. Territory that grants legal authority to provide school psychological counseling services, or other types of counseling services.
• Experience with preschool and school-aged populations in a teaching/school counseling or psychologist position is preferred.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to Havasupai school location, as needed. Anticipated travel level: Low (10-15%)
