Job Description

Retail Appointment Setter position will join our team inside a Home Depot store. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers interested in home improvement services provided by QHS: complimentary water testing, water filtration and air purification products. Your primary responsibility is to engage with shoppers, educate them on available services, and ultimately schedule in-home consultations with professional consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively approach and engage Home Depot customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers on available home improvement services and promotions.
• Qualify customer needs and schedule appointments for in-home consultations.
• Accurately enter customer information into scheduling systems or CRM tools.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly appointment-setting goals.
• Contact QHS dispatch to confirm appointments with customers present.
• Attend daily team meetings and participate in daily training calls.
• Accurately record and organize results for future calls
• Maintain a very high degree of confidentiality regarding QHS marketing scripts and protocols.
• Collaborate with Home Depot associates and service providers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Attend regular training sessions and team meetings.

• Participate in retail events, including but not limited to, Home Shows and In-Store events as scheduled

• Comply with all safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and regulations are followed within the department.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to travel to and between store locations. Moderate lifting (up to 25 lbs.) is required occasionally. Clear vision (close, distance, peripheral and depth perception) is needed for office & store environment. Must also be able to communicate verbally, observe with own eyes and give and receive information through listening and conversing. This position requires the ability to write/complete survey forms and to utilize basic office equipment.
