POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for reprocessing off-quality material to be reused in the process
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Safely operate recycle equipment
- Inspect incoming material and pellet quality; and effectively trouble-shoot operability and quality issues.
- Using time efficiently
- Proactively take advantage of opportunities to help meet production goals by assisting teammates on the orientation lines as needed.
- Recycle operator is expected to take ownership of area and demonstrate their knowledge of expertise
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :
- High school graduate or GED
- 36 months manufacturing experience
- 12 months recycle experience required
- Candidate should have extensive knowledge of Oriented polypropylene process
- Working knowledge of winding, recycle, customer FFU needs and be able to identify recycle quality concerns
- Able to perform in a team environment
- Good oral/written communication and math skills required
- Attention to detail
- Concern for effectiveness
