Overview
We’re hiring a Medical Receptionist to support a fast paced healthcare office and serve as the first point of contact for patients. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and confident managing front desk operations in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and empathy
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow
• Verify insurance information and collect co pays as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Handle administrative tasks including forms, scanning, and data entry
• Support HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with EMR systems and basic office technology
• Ability to multitask in a high volume environment
• High attention to detail and reliability
