Position Title: Production Lead

Wage: $20.00 - $25.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Production Lead for a company in Elk Grove Village, IL. This company is a growing beauty product manufacturer. This key role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring staff productivity, machine readiness, and overall workflow efficiency. Production Lead Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support production staff during daily operations
- Perform light machine maintenance (e.g., start-up and functionality checks before each shift)
- Ensure production equipment is operational and production schedules are met
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor production or equipment issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adapt to different roles and tasks as needed to support the team

Requirements for Production Lead:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- At least two years of previous experience in a packaging or production environment in a lead role
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to “wear multiple hats”
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with on-the-job training provided
