**Now Hiring: Bindery Operator** **Location:** Twin Cities Metro Area **Job Type:** Full-Time **Position Overview** Join a collaborative and safety-focused team as a **Bindery Operator** , where you'll be responsible for equipment setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a high-tech, climate-controlled printing and bindery facility. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with experience in press or bindery operations. **Key Responsibilities** + Review job specifications and prepare materials for setup. + Monitor equipment performance and product quality. + Troubleshoot equipment and product issues (simple to moderately complex). + Communicate effectively during and between shifts. + Perform preventative maintenance and evaluate mechanical conditions. + Use computer-based workflow systems to manage files. + Document activities in systems such as MII and SAP. + Perform tasks including feeding, catching off, stacking, bundling, and inventory counts. + Participate in safety programs and promote a safe work culture. + Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards using standard procedures. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project teams. + Provide backup coverage for other operators. + Recommend and implement process improvements. + Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. + Wear required PPE including steel toe shoes and ear protection. **Required Skills & Experience** + Experience operating press machines, bindery equipment, and general machinery. + Strong troubleshooting skills related to printing and press operations. + Familiarity with bindery or subscription operations. + Preferred experience with companies such as Loften Label, AWT, First Impressions, Genpak, Computype, Smyth, Vomela, Carlson Printing, Proampac, or Graphic Packaging International. **Why Work Here?** + **$2,500 sign-on bonus** after 90 days. + **Shift differentials** : $3/hr for 2nd shift, $5/hr for 3rd shift. + **Clean, climate-controlled environment** with advanced technology. + **Excellent benefits** including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid parental leave. + **Company-provided PPE** including gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. + **Inclusive and interactive culture** with opportunities for career growth and development. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomington, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $67000.00/yr. - Two Mental Health company holidays - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Dedicated wellbeing resources website - Wellbeing events - Mindful business practices - Fitness reimbursement program - Health coaching - Headspace meditation app - Health & wellbeing assessment - Mental health e-learning courses and manager training - Global and local Wellbeing Champions - Virtual behavioral health counseling resources - Financial educational webinars and 1:1 counseling - Wellbeing and fitness discounts traditional health benfefits outside of these resource/benefits **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Bloomington,MN. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Nov 28, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
