We are seeking a Minnesota First Class A License Boiler Operator (*Second Class B Licensed Boiler Operators will be considered), with a Central Heating Facility in the Minneapolis / St Paul, MN area. Full-Time Permanent Position offers excellent wages and benefits. Position involves rotating 12-hour shifts.

Job Description:

• Reviews and oversees the operation of high pressure boilers to provide steam to the customer in a safe and efficient manner.
• Oversees and operates all boiler room auxiliary equipment for safe and efficient operation of the plant.
• Directs and performs repairs and maintenance on boilers and all plant equipment to prevent shutdown and ensure proper operation.
• Directs and performs building maintenance to enhance a safe work environment.
• Trains and instructs new Principal Operating Engineers and other plant personnel to convey company policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety and environmental records to ensure the safety of employees and compliance with federal, state, and company policies and regulations.
• Performs Senior and Junior Operating Engineer functions to ensure uninterrupted operation of the plant.

 

Qualifications

• Minnesota First or Second Class A (B will be considered) Boiler's License (Sprung Services will facilitate Navy trained Steam Plant Operators obtain proper license).
• Experience with Steam Driven Turbines.
• Experience Operating and Maintaining High-Pressure Boiler's and Auxiliary Equipment.
• Ability to Pass Screening Tests.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Ability to work well with others and independently

*Sprung Services welcomes Navy trained operators and will facilitate with obtaining proper MN Boiler Operation Licensing.
