What You Will Do: \n - Support failure analysis including understanding variables related to assembly, test and overall system function
\n - Create and improve work instructions to build electro-mechanical assemblies and communicate directly to assembly technicians
\n - Provide feedback to design engineering on manufacturability of current and future designs
\n - Work in cross functional teams including operations, quality, design engineering, and supply chain to reach common goals
\n - Select and design tooling and equipment for use in production with justification of cost and reliability

Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer: \n - Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program
\n - Excellent communication skills, Comfortable working directly with hourly labor and senior leadership

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
