Position: Interior Design Sales

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Join one of the country’s top providers of high-quality in-home design solutions! We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced salesperson to join our sales team as an Interior Design Salesperson , with potential to advance to a Territory Sales Manager role .

Job Overview:

As the Interior Design Salesperson , you will play a key role in driving success by connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored window covering solutions. The position involves appointment scheduling, quoting, measuring, negotiating, and contract creation. Successful candidates will be responsible for generating leads within the local community and fostering positive relationships. The ideal candidate resonates with our core values of cleanliness, care, and consistency.

Compensation:

• Competitive compensation plan with average earnings of $80-120k+ for experienced salespersons.
• Potential for a base + commission or commission-only structure.
• Vehicle and gas provided.
• Paid 30-60 day training period.
• Comprehensive benefits package , including health, 401k, disability, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home consultations to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Provide expert advice on window covering options and recommend suitable products.
• Schedule appointments, perform measurements, and deliver accurate quotes .
• Negotiate sales and finalize contracts, ensuring a seamless handover to the operations and installation team.
• Actively engage in local lead generation and community involvement.
• Motivate and inspire customers to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in window covering sales is required .
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm and engaging style.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented , with the ability to drive towards targets.
• Initiative and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with the territories: Columbus OH, Indianapolis IN, Cincinnati OH, Louisville KY, Madison IN.
• Willingness to occasionally work Saturdays.
