Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to provide instructional and behavioral support to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in delivering academic content, managing classroom behavior, and supporting individual student needs to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Support students in both general and special education classrooms
Assist with academic instruction, behavior support, and daily classroom tasks
Work 1:1 or in small groups with students as assigned
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement learning and behavior strategies
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require 60+ college credit hours or a paraprofessional certificate)
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow teacher and team direction
