Job Summary:
The Washington Center for Equitable Growth is non-profit research and grantmaking organization dedicated to advancing evidence-backed ideas and polices that promote strong, stable, and broad-based economic growth. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Policy the Government Affairs Associate will cultivate and maintain relationships with policymakers and policy stakeholders on a wide range of economic policy issues.
The Government Affairs Associate will support feedback loops to ensure that the research and expertise of Equitable Growth staff, fellows, and academic network and policymakers informs and is informed by current policy discussions. This role will also distill technical research papers, studies, and reports produced by Equitable Growth staff or members of our academic network to convey research findings to general audiences and create policy-relevant narratives. They may lead or co-lead initiatives such as organizing policy-relevant events. This is a bargaining unit position.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Hybrid Schedule: This role is primarily remote; however, employees are required to report to the office up to five days per month for in-person collaboration. In addition, attendance is expected at occasional company events or team gatherings as scheduled.
