Job Summary:
The Housekeeper at Lantern Crest Senior Living is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for the residents and guests of the senior living community. This is a full-time, hourly position in Santee, California, and the role is an individual contributor.

Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing in designated areas including resident apartments, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure all areas are kept free of debris, litter, and spills.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
• Handle laundry, including washing, drying, and folding linens and personal items.
• Strip, make beds, and change linens in resident apartments.
• Restock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Communicate and report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate team members.
• Follow established safety procedures and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to infection control and OSHA standards to ensure the safety of residents and employees.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
