Job Description

ITnova is seeking a Data Analyst to support the integration of the Kahua PMIS platform, focusing on data inventory, migration, mapping, and governance. This role will work with technical teams and vendors to ensure accurate data integration, develop reports and dashboards, and maintain data quality and security. Expertise in data management, analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel is required; experience in engineering or construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical designs, system configuration, data integration, and data migration requirements for the PA Engineering department.


• Assist in the review, planning, defining, and documenting the data analysis, data mapping, future data and technical design, systems integration, data migration and reporting and analytics.


• Conducting a full data inventory assessment to help identify, collect, and analyze data from various sources within the existing project systems using common data analysis tools Perform in-depth data analysis to assess and interpret the quality of the data.


• Create and design data models and provide interpretations of data analysis.


• Experience in data cleansing and maintenance of historical data.


• Assist system architects, technical support teams, and 3rd party vendors in the system design, data migrations tools, data migration execution, support, and governance and security.


• Assist technical support teams in the preparation of data migration. Manage and validate the results of data migration.


• Worked with system architects, technical, and 3rd party vendors in the system design.


• Establish boundaries of data migration, standardized data and mapping requirements, and data cleansing and metadata augmentation.


• Present result of findings in presentations, charts, graphs and reports.


• Experience in using common data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).


• Assist users in the revision, development, and deployment of new reports and dashboards.


• Provide technical & functional support for enterprise and systems engineers.


• Support end-users & technical support teams in UAT, Pilot & Go-Live.

Required Education, Technical Qualifications and Experience

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related technical field.


• Minimum 10-years of demonstrated experience in data management, data analysis, and data migration.


• Experience in data visualization and design and developing reports and dashboards and use of related tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and SQL.


• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro.


• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.


• Ability to work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.


• Excellent oral, written, communication, and presentation skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.


• Strong attention to details and ability to work with various stakeholders.

Preferred Technical Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced degrees are highly desirable.


• Extensive experience working with process reengineering projects pertaining to workflows, systems configuration, and systems integration.


• Experience working in the construction and engineering industry.


• Experience working with the Kahua construction management application.


• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development environment.


• Some exposure or knowledge SaaS based cloud environments, network, cyber security protocol and systems integration.
