Summary/Objective The Controller is a key member of the Management team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This individual will be in a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company. The Controller will have day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct and indirect responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, investor relationships and institutional financing. Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization. Ability to and experience with utilising NetSuite ERP and FP&A Module to work smarter, not harder. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and merger and acquisition activity. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and collaborate to seek a full range of business solutions. Manage and direct processes for financial forecasting, budgets and financial reporting to the company. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Be primary contact with our external auditors and maintain a strong relationship with them. Provide accurate and timely responses to our PE partner’s data requests Monitor all banking activities and relationships. Motivate, manage and develop a strong team of finance and accounting professionals. Manage and coach the Accounting/Finance team by establishing comprehensive goals for the team according to the needs of the business.
