Metrolight Staffing Agency in Brooklyn, NY is looking for one cna queens ny to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 41 Flatbush Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Assists Patients with daily living activities, delivering meals, Bathing, turning and ambulating patients.
• Observes patients and report any health issues to the nurse supervisor.
• Assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Assist with and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transport patients to medical appointments.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.
• Must have patience, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

Job description

The CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
