About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to lead its premier luxury golf club. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and influential leader with a proven track record in elevating service standards, promoting a strong organizational culture, and enhancing the experiences of both members and employees. This role is highly visible and requires a servant leader who is dedicated to the proactive management of all club operations. The GM/COO will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the club, including the supervision of a skilled team, the maintenance and protection of the club's assets and facilities, and the continuous improvement of the quality of services. The ideal GM/COO will have 10-15 years of general management experience in similar high-quality, private club or hospitality environments, with a strong background in operational management, financial planning, and business development. They should be a strategic thinker, capable of leading transformative efforts, and have a history of success in building organizations that prioritize employee and member satisfaction. The role demands a leader with outstanding communication skills, a hands-on approach to customer service, and a commitment to fostering a culture of trust, respect, and accountability. The GM/COO will also be involved in the club's extensive capital projects and must have the project management skills to ensure their successful execution. A Bachelor's degree in hospitality or business management is highly desirable, along with industry credentials that demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
