A health services network in California is currently seeking an experienced professional to join one of their clinics as their new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In this role, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will be responsible for a mix of clinical and administrative functions (80% administrative; 20% clinical).

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business (40 hours a week)
• Specialty : Pediatrics
• Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
• Patient Population: All ages (outpatient only)

Responsibilities:

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement the network's medical policies, procedures, and programs to ensure quality and cost-effective healthcare
• Provide oversight of clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across all departments
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, including patient safety programs, infection control, and clinical effectiveness
• Supervise and provide leadership to medical staff, including recruitment, credentialing, and performance evaluation
• Develop and implement patient care protocols and pathways to standardize and improve patient care

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in the State of California
• Board Eligible / Certified in Pediatrics
• DEA registration
• ACLS certification
