Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our legal team. This role focuses on handling a wide range of complex matters involving commercial and residential real estate disputes, including landlord/tenant issues and property-related litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of real estate litigation matters, including commercial property disputes, residential property claims, landlord/tenant matters, and related transactions.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and develop effective litigation strategies tailored to each case.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients regarding real estate and landlord/tenant disputes.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including document review and production.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Stay current on developments in real estate law and litigation practices.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in [State/Jurisdiction].
• 5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in real estate and landlord/tenant law.
• Proven experience representing clients in court, depositions, and negotiations.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial and residential real estate laws and regulations.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
