Job Description

Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioral needs in an educational setting, this role requires a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician for the 25/26 school year. The position is full-time, contract-based, and situated within a K-12 school in Connellsville, PA. The ideal candidate will work closely with a student who frequently exhibits elopement behaviors, requiring constant engagement and skilled behavioral intervention throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on established protocols
• Maintain a 1:1 assignment, providing consistent and attentive support to the assigned student
• Manage and respond effectively to elopement behaviors to ensure student safety
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to implement behavioral strategies
• Document progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and student behavior
• Uphold all safety standards and protocols, including First Aid and CPR procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current First Aid and CPR certification mandatory
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred; behavior technicians without RBT must demonstrate substantial behavior experience
• Proven ability to engage deeply and positively with students exhibiting challenging behaviors
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Previous ABA therapy experience in a school or clinical environment is essential
